That's so funny - because I swear I had thought of him when posting in this topic. He's like the poster boy example of how eating right and exercising guarantees nothing.

And it's also true that some people live so hard you'd think they'd keel over at 40 but live to be 100, lol.

Lots of people are perfectly healthy either because they got lucky with their genes or because they eat healthy and/or exercise.

I wish I were one of them, lol.

Of course there are medical problems that will happen to some people no matter what they do - but there are also plenty of people who will die with people saying, "They never had a sick day in their life."

That's correct about Massachusetts.

And - we keep talking about not paying but that's not what Obama has said. This is NOT going to be free insurance or free healthcare. And if they mandate that everyone must get in a health insurance plan, it will be the same as here in Mass. TONS of people who couldn't really afford it desperately trying to come up with hundreds of dollars at once - or delay the deadline for a couple of months and pay a $100 fine. Lots of people...

Have Medicare.Still shocking what they will and will not pay for.
Have a doctor who wanted me to take out patient physical therapy to learn to walk on 2 prosthetics.Medicare refuses to cover this. Not cost effective.Cost to them is under $90 per session,3 times a week.They will gladly pay for in patient PT which is in a hospital setting.Meals nurses,aides,Dr visits,room and PT run around $5000 per day.The theorpy was to last 4 weeks.
