The list of members who have personal investments in the corporations that will be affected by the legislation -- which President Obama has called this year's highest domestic priority Aw gee. And here I thought the failing economy should be the highest priority. :duh I guess it's much more important to create what's probably going to be the largest entitlement program in the entire government when everyone who will be expected to finance it is trying to survive in this "worst economy since the Great Depression". Yeah, that makes sense.

62% want a big change in health care coverage. Obama won, America wanted changed, let's do it. AMA is only worried about their millionaires, just
like Wall Street, and insurance executives.

Have Medicare.Still shocking what they will and will not pay for.
Have a doctor who wanted me to take out patient physical therapy to learn to walk on 2 prosthetics.Medicare refuses to cover this. Not cost effective.Cost to them is under $90 per session,3 times a week. They will gladly pay for in patient PT which is in a hospital setting.Meals nurses, aides,Dr visits, room and PT run around $5000 per day.The theorpy was to last 4 weeks. Which appears to be more costeffective, spending $90 3 times a week or 30 days of spending $5000 plus for 30 days. Gotta love the government run programs. The drug plan Medicare offers does work well. |

California's budget woes are the result of the path Reagan set the state on over 40 years ago. Howard Jarvis and his crypto-Nazis didn't help matters

So then Gov Reagan wished to spend billions for housing, welfare, and healthcare of illegal aliens?Keep property taxes as well as personal income taxes and
state sale tax among the hoghest in the nation.Interesting spin.Doesn't agree with facts, but sadly has been blogged about on several leftwing blogs since
their recent crisis began.

That's correct about Massachusetts.
And - we keep talking about not paying but that's not what Obama has said. This is NOT going to be free insurance or free healthcare. And if they mandate that everyone must get in a health insurance plan, it will be the same as here in Mass. TONS of people who couldn't really afford it desperately trying to come up with hundreds of dollars at once - or delay the deadline for a couple of months and pay a $100 fine. Lots of people had to do that so ended up paying an extra $100 (maybe it was $150 - I forget) over and above what the policy cost them.
